Thatch and Earth is a multi-faceted company focusing on conservation-centric data collection, analysis and presentation.

Through our services we work directly with land owners to help them understand the biological diversity of their property as well as the ecological interactions which take place on it. This involves the use of remote, live feed camera traps, GPS technology and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to collect data and visualise it a way that can be understood by anyone.

For those properties with guests, we offer a conservation events service which allows lodges and hotels to offer their guests an insight in to active conservation research. As FGASA qualified guides we work directly with lodges and hotels to design informative and thought-provoking multi-day events.
